Torrentialism is a series of paintings made in 2021 as a reaction to being intensely and contractually online. The artworks reach towards the physicality of media to engage the body without electricity, interactivity or the requirement of choice. The name is a combination of torrent (as in a fast-moving stream of water or information) and abstract expressionism.
